I’m Aaron Hawkins — a digital strategist and tactician who thrives at the intersection of creativity, analytics, and technology. I build data-driven campaigns and digital experiences that turn complexity into clarity and insight into measurable impact.

My background spans healthcare, higher education, SaaS, and digital communications, with experience leading marketing automation, UX research, content strategy, and analytics for mission-driven organizations. I’m most energized when I’m solving hard problems, learning new tools, and building systems that help brands communicate more effectively.

Over the past decade, I’ve shaped and optimized digital ecosystems by blending strategic vision with hands-on execution. My roles have included:

  • Digital Experience Manager — leading strategy, analytics, automation, and UX improvements across multi-channel environments

  • Digital Communications & UX — designing workflows, crafting content, and improving usability for complex organizations

  • Marketing & Campaign Strategy — developing cross-channel campaigns that combine storytelling, measurement, and continual optimization

I bring a hybrid skillset — strategic planning, creative problem-solving, and technical fluency — allowing me to bridge gaps between marketing, design, engineering, and leadership teams.

RESEARCH & FOUNDATION

My approach to usability and metrics is grounded in formal study.

My graduate thesis — Metrics and the Success of a Higher Education Non-Transactional Website — explored how engagement indicators and usability standards shape audience behavior online and influence organizational goals.

This research continues to inform how I evaluate digital experiences today: through a lens of accessibility, user empathy, evidence, and continuous improvement.
